Effective Wednesday, June 10 Plymouth School Corporation gains a new Director of Safety and Security. Formerly the School Resource Officer, Ted Brown is replacing Jim Phillips who served as Director of Safety and Security for the past two years. Brown is a Plymouth High School Graduate who has coached football for the past 15 years.
Aside from his work with the school, Brown has worked with the Plymouth Police Department for more than two decades. This month he officially retires from Plymouth PD.
His decision to accept the position was made together with his wife and two daughters who both attend Plymouth Schools. Ted Brown said “My family is all on board with this decision and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity.” Brown assumes his new duties as Director of Safety and Security tomorrow.
