The winning streak continues for the Plymouth High School band. School officials were notified the band is once again a recipient of the prestigious “All-Music Award” from the Indiana State School Music Association. This is the 12th consecutive year the PHS band has received the honor.
It is only presented to high schools that ear top ratings in every form of ISSMA competition. The Plymouth High School Band is one of just a few schools in the state to have earned the award annually for this long.
The band earned gold awards at the ISSMA Regional Marching Band Contest, ISSMA Jazz Contest and ISSMA Concert Band Competition. Each band also had students advance to state finals as both a soloist and in an ensemble at the annual solo and ensemble competition.
