The Plymouth Board of Works hopes to award a bid for mill and fill work at the south entrance to Centennial Park and on the two short streets to the cemetery at their next meeting. They received five bids for the work, ranging from a low of $488,000 to a high of more than $696,000. Those bids are under advisement.
The board did accept a quote from Aragon Heating and Cooling for nearly $12,000 for a new heating and cooling system at the old administration building. Of the two quotes submitted, theirs was the lowest and meets the specifications outlined. A total of four vendors visited the site and reviewed the project, but the other two officially stated they would not be submitting quotes.
