Students and parents interested in taking Dual Credit classes will have a chance to learn more about the process.
Plymouth High School partners with Ivy Tech Community College to offer more than 30 Dual Credit Courses. The school corporation has indicated in the past that students signing-up for the classes will see a 1/3 letter grade increase.
Representatives of Ivy Tech will be speaking at Plymouth High School on Thursday to answer questions about the potential benefits of taking the classes.
According to information released by the college system, those in attendance will learn how to enroll in dual credit courses, how to obtain an official transcript, and how taking the classes can be used to complete a degree at Ivy Tech.
Those attending will be entered to win a scholarship – though the amount was not mentioned.
The event will take place April 2nd between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. at Plymouth High School.
