A vehicle was driven off the roadway in Marshall County last Friday, and authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified last Friday that that a possibly intoxicated driver pushed another car off the side of the road in the area of U.S. 6 and Queen Road. While on scene, officers found that 22-year-old Dakota Vandall of Walkerton had been Opearting a Vehicle while Intoxicated.
Damage to the vehicles involved was not disclosed in the release from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. No injuries were reported.
Vandall was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department where he failed a chemical test. He was subsequently booked at the jail for Operating a vehicle while Intoxicated with a prior conviction, and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .15% or above.
