The Plymouth man shot by police in December is now facing a few felony charges.
34-year-old Lane Dodson was shot by police in the parking lot of the K-Mart in Plymouth on December 29th. That’s after a state trooper began questioning him about an earlier battery call they suspected he was involved with.
During questioning, officers allege Dodson raised a handgun and began shooting. The incident caused officers to return fire, hitting him several times.
Dodson was transported to an area hospital, received care in South Bend and Indianapolis for the injuries sustained.
According to information released by the Indiana State Police, Dodson turned himself in at the Marshall County Jail Friday morning after being informed he had a warrant out for his arrest.
He is facing charges of attempted murder, two counts of domestic battery, and one count of intimidation with a deadly weapon.
Dodson is under house arrest in Koscuisko County for medical reasons.
