Plymouth High School Offering New Manufacturing Courses

Students returning to Plymouth High School next school year will have a few more course options to choose from.

The school corporation announced last week they are adding two manufacturing and logistics courses.

An introductory class will show students basic technology. According to information released by the school corporation, it aims to give students a few skills needed in the manufacturing workforce.

A follow-up course is considered a little more advanced. Both will be using Indiana’s “Hire Technology” curriculum. Students can earn college credit through Ivy Tech by taking the advanced class.

It’s designed to help students achieve employment in Indiana’s advanced manufacturing sector. Classroom projects and online instruction are featured in the course.

Students were allowed to sign-up starting Monday.
