Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter will again once be hosting the National Day of Prayer breakfast.
Additional information will be released by the Mayor’s office in the near future, but Senter says the prayer breakfast will be held on May 7th of this year.
This will be the 64th year the National Day of Prayer will be recognized across the country. The breakfast will start at 6:30 a.m., but the Mayor’s office was unable to disclose where the event will take place.
The National Day of Prayer is often used to reflect on the direction of the United States and its elected officials.
This year’s speaker will be Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter. The theme for this year’s National Day of Prayer is “Lord, Hear our Cry.”
