A home in Marshall County is being called a total loss after a structure fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Volunteer firefighters in Tippecanoe received the call just before 3:00 on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency responders were on the scene of another call, causing them to take about 10 minutes to arrive at the scene.
The home in the 17-thousand block of Cedar Road in Tippecanoe was described as being fully involved. Volunteer Fire Departments from Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, and a few others were called to assist.
The home was unoccupied, but is being called a total loss. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Firefighters are unsure what caused the blaze at this time. An investigation is being conducted.
