Neighboring Business Hope They’re Unaffected By Child Porn Arrest

Neighboring businesses are commenting on an alleged incident that landed a Knox man in jail on Child Molesting and other counts.

According to police, 67-year-old Robert Wisilinski was arrested after a couple of missing juvenile calls led officers to his Heaton Street address. After refusing to answer the door, Wisilinski was spotted exiting the home with one of the missing juveniles.

Preferred Group Realtors operate their location next to the home where the alleged incidents took place. Owner Vicki Simoni says she found the acts alleged in the report disgusting.

“I’m appalled by it,” says Simoni. “I just felt that, you know, it’s a shame that that had to go on and nobody knew about it.”

Police say they obtained a warrant for the address and located more than 4-thousand images of child pornography.

An interview with the juvenile led authorities to believe that sexual assault had taken place inside the residence.

Simoni says the company had several interactions with Wisilinski.

“He was doing always something in his yard,” says Simoni. “He put this privacy fence up so that it would block our views more or less. He was always cutting the trees on our side, stuff like that.”

The business does not believe it will be affected by the alleged incidents.

Wisilinski had an initial hearing in Starke County Circuit Court on Friday morning where he was facing multiple felony counts, including: child solicitation and child pornography.
