Missing Juvenile Calls Lead to Child Porn Discovery in Knox

Knox Police are conducting an investigation after they received a call of two missing juveniles on Sunday.

Officers were able to locate one of the individuals cited as missing without incident. It was learned that the second juvenile was at a residence on Heaton Street in Knox.

Officers approached the residence, but when a person identified as a male inside the home asked who was at the door, he refused to answer when police identified themselves.

Some time later, the second missing juvenile was located leaving the Heaton Street residence with an adult male. Police apprehended 67-year-old Robert Wisilinski – who also happens to be the owner of the location.

This is not the first time Wisilinski has been confronted by police. In January of 2012, Wisilinski was booked at the Starke County Jail on intimidation charges where it was found he was in possession of throwing stars.

During the Sunday incident, police say an interview of the juvenile revealed that sexual assault had allegedly taken place. Based on the information, a search warrant for the residence was obtained. Once inside, police located child pornography.

Wisilinski was arrested and is being charged with Child Molesting, a Level 1 Felony; and Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony.
