Penny Wars
United Way Campaign Chair, Susan Wagner was presented with a check from Jefferson Elementary students Chloe Campbell, Hunter Rust, Kasi O’Neal, Hogan Reed, Ryan Jolly, Amelia Guthrie, Christopher Johnson and Susan Wagner.

Pennies add up to dollars – $263 of them to be exact. That’s how much money students at Jefferson Elementary School in Plymouth raised for United Way of Marshall County during the month of November.

The youngsters staged a Penny Wars competition and collected $265.33. United Way of Marshall County’s mission is to inspire our community to invest its time, talents and treasures to help our neighbors meet the most basic needs of education, health and income by igniting the caring power of the human spirit.
