Home Detention Inmate Faces New Charges

A Marshall County Home Detention inmate faces new charges after a short-lived shot at freedom. Chance Michael Skaggs, 27, of Plymouth, is accused of fleeing from a court services official around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

He reportedly took off south on Adams Street near Walnut in the direction of a Plymouth Police officer who ordered him to stop. Skaggs then ran eastbound in front of the library, where he was captured. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on charges of escape and resisting law enforcement.
