The Marshall County Police Department is investigating a Friday hit-and-run crash. It happened on 4th Road between the King Road intersections and was reported just after 10 p.m. that night.
Police say someone was driving westbound on 4th Road west of the east junction of King Road, drove into the westbound shoulder and into a ditch before striking a fence. The vehicle continued westbound for another 300 feet or so then drove back over the fence again. Police say silver plastic car parts and a large under engine brush shroud with “Ford” on it were found nearby. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187.
