A Plymouth Community School Corporation principal and teacher will return to the classroom today after an investigation into possible mismanagement of school funds cleared them of any wrongdoing. Jefferson Elementary School Principal Angie Mills and a teacher have been on paid leave since Friday, Nov. 14, according to our reporting partners at WNDU-TV.
That was prompted by an internal investigation into possible mismanagement of the school’s Parent Teacher Organization money. An outside firm audited the account and found that it actually had more money in it than records indicated. Superintendent Dan Tyree told the TV station the account had not been reconciled in a couple of years.
