A pair of Bremen break-in suspects face numerous felony charges in Marshall County after leading police from multiple agencies on a high-speed chase this morning. The caretaker of a vacant residence in the 400 block of Kenilworth Road in Bremen found a man and woman sleeping in the upstairs bedroom, went outside and called the police. She tried to block their SUV to keep them from leaving until officers arrived. She told police the man pulled a gun on her before he sped off through an adjacent field.

When state police arrived, they found several personal items the suspects left behind. Meanwhile officers from multiple agencies spent the next hour trying to find the vehicle in which they fled. A state trooper spotted it near the Dollar Tree store on U.S. 30 in Plymouth. A 10 minute chase ensued before the driver was captured in a field off Lincoln Highway at the U.S. 31 overpass in Plymouth. Officers reportedly found several methamphetamine precursors in the vehicle, which had recently been reported stolen from Marshall County.

Richard Gee, 29, of Michigan City, and Shannon Dixon, 25, of Argos, both face numerous felony charges in connection with the incident.
