Hoosier motorists will have a holiday from road construction this Thanksgiving weekend. INDOT spokesman Will Wingfield tells WKVI News remaining construction projects will pull back barrels and barricades to the greatest extent possible starting at noon today and continuing through sunrise on Monday.
Wingfield adds INDOT plow crews will be standing by and ready to work alternating 12 to 16 hour shifts through the weekend if it snows. They might get called out this weekend, as forecasts indicate snow is possible. If you do encounter a snow plow, give the driver ample room to work.
