Police are investigating, after the body of a 29-year-old woman was found at a home near Walkerton. Officers were called to the home in the 69500 block of Tamarack Road around 9:00 a.m. Friday.
St. Joseph County Coroner Mike McGann tells WNDU-TV that the body has been identified as Danae M. Rudge. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday morning in Fort Wayne.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, but WNDU reports that it’s still considered simply a death investigation.
