Thanksgiving Travel Enforcement Blitz Nets Seven Arrests for Marshall County Sheriff’s Department

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has announced the results of its Thanksgiving 2016 travel enforcement effort.

During the 24-day enforcement period during November and early December, officers wrote 67 tickets and 71 warnings. On top of that, six criminal misdemeanor arrests were made, along with one arrest for driving while intoxicated.

The statewide Thanksgiving enforcement effort is sponsored by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute with federal highway safety funding.
