Arrest Made in Connection with Attempted Kroger Robbery

Plymouth Police have arrested a man in connection with an attempted robbery last week at the city’s Kroger store. Sean A. Critchlow, 23, of Plymouth was arrested Friday regarding charges of Robbery and Attempted Robbery.

At around 10:40 Thursday night, officers got a report that a white man attempted to rob the grocery store. He then allegedly proceeded to get in a fight with someone in the parking lot and took that person’s merchandise. Officers say another customer fired a handgun in the air to stop the attack, and the suspect took the stolen items and ran to the north.

After releasing images from Kroger’s security footage Friday, Plymouth Police say they got several tips identifying the suspect as Sean Critchlow, who was found later that day. Bond has been set at $10,000, according to Plymouth Police.
